Disc Dog Friends For Fun is a nonprofit school whose goal is to make disc dog close to everyone and to teach people to practice it with a good foundation and without any risk to their dogs. It’s based on good will and fondness of instructors and students. Therefore, classes are held in parks and are priced affordably aimed only for cover the organization costs.

Despite we compete internationally, we have no sponsors or support of any organization, whether canine or sportive. But we trust on goodwill of people who enjoy watching our dogs playing, parents who stand in parks with his astonished children watching our work, people who applauded our exhibitions and those who have received our tips.

What is Disc Dog?

Disc Dog (or Dogfrisbee) is an activity or game that basically a human throw discs in the air with the intention of a dog capture them. Actually, we could do it with any toy: balls, a stick … But the disc flies in a particular way that makes capturing into something spectacular. As you go deeper in the sport, catches turns into jumps and team elements that raise this hobby at a competitive level.

Disc dog practice exalts the rapport between the handler and the dog, needed to perform this work together.

International competitors

Ignacio and Fernando are the teachers of the school. And Kera and Jett are our pups. Despite we compete internationally in recent years, we have no sponsors or support of any organization. We always have travel and compete with our own funds.

But this year, due to the crisis that affects all of us, we have not been allowed to participate on qualifyers or in other competitions. All the work done with our dogs, with our students, with the people we’ve helped without receiving anything in return… Are we going to keep at home?

We have chosen this «last chance», where there will be, surely, the best of Europe. At least we are not able to get a trophy, but we will be there to enjoy the atmosphere of a European final and to learn more an more. And, of course, our dogs deserve to be there: among the best.

The amount of money needed is ridiculous for a Crowdfunding or sponsoring brand, but it is too much money for our homes.

Don’t let the money prevent us from pursuing our dreams.
